Emergency Preparedness
Management Resources will:
prepare an effective organizational wide policy
identify key business processes
identify responsibility for systems and resource availability.
We will assist in appointing a team which includes senior leaders from all major organizational functions and support groups to ensure wide-spread acceptance of the BCP.
We will then conduct a Risk Assessment which is a process of identifying internal and external threats and vulnerabilities, identifying the likelihood of an event arising from such threats or vulnerabilities, defining the critical functions necessary to continue an organization’s operations, defining the controls in place or necessary to reduce exposure, and evaluating the cost for such controls. |
Crisis Management
We will then develop a Crisis Management Team necessary to lead incident/event response. The Team should be comprised of such functions as human resources, information technology, facilities, security, legal, communications/media relations, manufacturing, warehousing, and other business critical support functions, all under the clear direction of senior management or its representatives. The Team will be designed to react before, during, and after an event to resolve the crisis, minimize loss, and otherwise protect the organization.
